One of the main things that sold me on Kashmir Shaivism, and one of my favorite thing within its corpus – was Abhinavaguptas masterful wielding of aesthetics, and how aesthetics is a tool for liberation.
Abhinavagupta taught that Rasa, and pure enjoyment of a work of art, intense enjoyment of external stimulus, followed by deep meditative absorption, is a key to pratyabhijna, and one way of attaining upayas.

The philosophy is heavily world affirming spiritually and as ive always said, that all is an expression of the one substrate – maya is real, negating the world is to not fully understand the transcendent.

World negating philosophies dont understand that the gross realms are so ripe with raw, latent ecstacy, and potential for being utilized for ego dissolving-reabsorption, that perhaps the best way up ontologically, is down.

My attitude is highly reflected in my vedic chart – from d1 to d60/shastiamsa.

I have a Venus 7th libra in swati (Malavya yoga) conjunct Rahu 7th Vishakha, within 1 degree – a sun 7th libra swati and my Jupiter in Vishakha, libra 7th – forming a guru chandal. I have ketu in 1st house swati d9, and ketu swati 9th house d60 (suddha devata). It is safe to say, astrologically, my spirituality could be interpreted as heavily venusian, and geared towards merging with the divine via ecstacy, aesthetics and relations.

The world we are in, afterall, is ruled by Venus – Venus, aesthetics and this merging, interweaving of emotions and logic, dominating our race.

This is why, no matter how strong of logic, one is- no matter how insane or deplorable ones notions are – the brilliant aestheticians capture peoples loyalty.
This is why nazism and its brutality was successful and is resurgent today.
To conquer ones heart, ones loyalty is through aesthetics.
Venus is the power of cult leaders, of dictators that sway one to do the unthinkable.
Aesthetics is not just a matter of sculpting, of paintings, of drama.. but most powerful is the tool of propagandists and memetic warfare.
Weaving a narrative that touches upon ones racial identity, ones roots, ones position and mythologizes it – turning it into something divine and predestined for god status – this will always trump cold, hard facts.
This, is why I study the nazis, why I study fascism and cult leaders.. because even though I hate nazis and most cult leaders, there is an unquestionable power to be learned from.
When diving very deeply early on into occultism, I realized one day, I was looking at a map, and found myself at the same lake as the nazis.
“The nazis?” I thought.. how fucked up..
I then realized this is how they persisted.
They took perennial wisdom and mythos and spun it with nonsense.
Nazis I hate especially, because they took from a body of knowledge, that I connect to profoundly – the aryans, antediluvian societies, Atlantis – and they used the aesthetics of it and of racial tribalism, and corrupted it for their own purpose.
People still today are being duped by the biggest misdirection and psyop ever – being misinformed on who the aryans were, what being an aryan meant and buying into it to feel superior and pledge honor to a genocidal, controlled op, machination of the elites.
The truth is.. the aryans that wrote down the vedas, even the aryans after the fall of atlantis – the ones giving an arctic home of the vedas – are far removed genetically from the original stock.. and to make it about genes, rather than spirit, is a total farce.
I learned that the most powerful branch of aesthetics of all.. was the sublime.

If you want power over people, you must, like Hitler and the nazis, perfect the embodiment of sublime.
This will award you the most unrelenting form of loyalty.

In aesthetic philosophy, the sublime refers to the quality of greatness, vastness, or overwhelming power that defies our ability to fully comprehend or measure it. Unlike beauty, which is defined by form, balance, and harmony, the sublime is rooted in formlessness and boundlessness, often evoking a thrilling mix of awe and terror.

The concept originated in antiquity with a 1st-century treatise on rhetoric and literature attributed to Longinus (often called On the Sublime). He defined it as the “echo of a noble mind”—the power of speech or writing to elevate the soul and leave an audience spellbound rather than merely persuaded.
This is the feeling one gets from a hurricane, the raging ocean – it connects ones immediate environment, to the incomprehensible.

No one forgets a person whose aesthetic is that of the sublime, and no matter how many fuck ups they have, it is incredibly difficult for the average person to not retrofit them to be good, true, just and lawful.

As ive mentioned: humans in the garden and in previous, primal, ages- such as kashyap, had the union of masculine and feminine principles within them – which is how they were able to create mind born children – with no need for sex to procreate. Though these humans operating at an age when their nature was subtler, had sex as an enhancement of their creative potentials – tantric sex/Tantra being a method in this yuga of reclaiming this at an individual level – the merging of masculine and feminine.

The goal of tikkun olam, effectively being the same in ambition – the uniting of masculine and feminine at a humanity wide scale, not just at an individual level.

Venus in vedic is also called shukra, in sanskrit – shukra being another word for sperm.

Sperm and the ovum were developed as a product of our fall into denser existence – our masculine/feminine qualities and capacity for dissolution, our capacity for harmony between opposites, being outsourced and needing complimentary pairs.

The lucifer, morning star, Venus symbolism in the bible, being symbolically linked.

In the garden, Adam and eve, experiencing the nature of Adam kadmon, and the same features of kashyap and the Prajapatis – they became fixated on the carnal, and lost the innate power and masculine and feminine balance.. they no longer saw sex as an enhancer of a creative act, but the means in which they sought after.
Venus, the morning star, falling.. is not Satan- lucifer is not Satan, but the latent christ that resides within denser matter. It is the christ that has fallen into denser modalities, with humans, in which is a doorway, a means to transcend duality, within duality.
Venus, Shukra, the morning star is the potential of christ within dead, fallen matter.

This is why in the siddha tradition there is sexual transmutation, semen retention etc. Things such as vajroli mudra.
It is the life force and binder of opposites within the male anatomy, that is to be transcended.

Except, in reality, in my framework, the framework of Kashmir shaivism – this is not compulsory- abstinence and retention is not necessary, even though it is with its benefits.
Retention and periods of abstinence yield sensitization and the transmutation of fluids brings ojas and tejas, and gives greater capacity for ekragata, one pointedness, though it is one of many things.
Venuss true power, lies in the likes of tantric sex, where you and a consecrated partner realize oneself as siva/sakti, as hrdaya, the spiritual heart.

Venus, the merger, is what allows one to realize your partner and you are one.. that all of creation is you, and you contain both masculine and feminine principles within you, capable of mind born children.

However, this masculine and feminine merging witnin us, at a physical level, at the level of jiva and lagna, is a yuga or age based phenomenon – it is only when we reach the golden age or what in Kabbalah is tikkun olam/olam haba, that we will reach these siddhis again.

Many have wrongly interpreted the bibles lucifer.

Venus/Lucifer is the ability of merging opposites, and at a personal level, the capacity to use form to convey or stir emotion and virtue. It is a merging of mercury and moon – buddhi and manas.
Venus and planets have correspondences above and below.

Venus at the highest level, is the christ, that exists within dead matter and varying planes of existence- accessed through the creative act and the indulgence in the gross realms etc- not through mindless indulgence but using divine logic/tarka or through absolute egoless surrender.

Tantric sex is to access this christ, this venus.. to have such strong, imbibing of ecstacy and love for another, a consecrated partner, and divine awareness, that through them you both realize one as Paramasiva, and this is how one reattains the perfect blend of masucline-feminine energies.
