In vedic/tantric cosmology, it is stated that humans had mind born children.. and that humans actually were categorically superior in power to most gods, especially when concerning the advent/preliminary stage of creation.



So the idea of us being a species with amnesia.. is not just some idea that we were superhuman, but we were instrumental vessels of primordial creation.



Gurus like Kashyap, in which the mystical, paramount, kashmir is named after, and his partners, being responsible for creating Adityas, nagas etc.



Humans in this age – having both perfected masculine and feminine qualities embodied within them, not needing to engage in sex – still did so as enhancement of their creative powers – as an amplifier of their mental energies: the hierarchy of gods, the creative acts they used sex as an amplifier for.



Tantra, specifically tantric sex, is a technology used in this yuga, in attempts to reclaim these powers in which the original humans had.



To be perfect microcosms of siva/sakti, to be vessels of parabhairava, and to spontaneously manifest from spanda, the equivalent of chaos/prima materia, perfectly harnessed – the true philosophers stone.



Just as these humans had a marriage of masculine and feminine qualities within them, and no need for sex- the kabbalists attempting to achieve tikkun olum and Christians visions of a golden age are striving to reunite this masculinity and femininity.



These are referring to the same thing, the same capacity – the reattainment of the garden, the interpenetration of the divine realms into the physical.. the realization of adam kadmon, and humanities full attainment of pratyabhijna.
